Who needs to apply for EPR Authorization?
Any manufacturer, importer or brand owner dealing in plastics, electrical and electronic equipment, batteries or tyres must obtain EPR Authorization from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) or the relevant State Pollution Control Board.
What is LMPC Registration?
LMPC (Legal Metrology Packaged Commodities) registration is required for importers of packaged goods in India. It ensures that product packaging complies with the Legal Metrology Act, including correct declarations of weight, volume and price.
What is ICEGATE Registration?
ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Gateway) registration allows importers and exporters to file customs documentation such as shipping bills and bills of entry online. It is mandatory for smooth import-export operations.
Why is a WPC Certificate required?
A WPC (Wireless Planning and Coordination) Certificate is mandatory for importing or selling wireless and radio frequency devices in India. It ensures that the equipment complies with Indian telecommunication and frequency regulations.
